A massive giant that stacks Steam Eruption each turn. When its HP reaches 0, it becomes invincible for one turn and detonates for the full accumulated Steam Eruption value. The longer the fight, the deadlier the explosion.

One of the hardest bosses in the game. Every few turns, the demon pauses combat and forces you to choose a permanent debuff. Meanwhile it heals itself and stacks permanent Strength via Rejuvenating Runes. Slow decks lose to the healing and Strength snowball.

A terrifying worm boss with an instant-death timer. Sandpit starts at 4 and decreases by 1 each turn — when it reaches 0, you die instantly regardless of HP. The boss shuffles 6 Frantic Escape cards into your deck; playing them extends the timer by 1 turn each.

A three-part encounter: the Kaiser Crab body (invincible, background) plus two claws — Crusher (199 HP, tanky) and Rocket (189 HP, high damage). You fight both claws simultaneously. If one claw is destroyed, the surviving claw gains 5 Strength and 99 Block for one turn.

A two-phase cycling boss. Phase 1: a floating Door barrier (155 HP, increases by 20 each cycle) that deals escalating damage. Phase 2: the Doormaker himself (489 HP total), who appears stunned for 1 turn, attacks for 30+ damage, gains 3 Strength, then flees to restart the cycle. Strength compounds across all cycles.

The Queen hides behind a Torch Head Amalgam (199 HP) that serves as her primary damage dealer, hitting up to three times per turn. Each phase introduces a new mechanic: Phase 1 gains Strength from your Skill cards, Phase 2 inserts Wounds on unblocked damage, Phase 3 gains Intangible every other turn. All debuffs (including Poison and Doom) are cleansed between phases.

A dormant stone statue that begins the fight asleep, doing nothing on Turn 1. When it wakes on Turn 2, it gains 10 Strength in a single burst and applies Slow — a debuff that increases the damage you take for each card you play in a turn. After waking, it slashes every turn with Strength-boosted damage.

When its HP drops to 70 (Asc 8: 75) for the first time, it becomes Stunned for one turn, then uses Terror to apply 99 Vulnerable — effectively permanent 50% increased damage taken for the rest of the fight. Timing the stun correctly is the key decision.

A three-segment centipede where each segment acts independently. The segments cycle through Writhe, Bulk, and Constrict in an offset pattern, meaning each turn features a different combination of attacks. Killed segments can revive if other segments are still alive, making this a fight that demands focused single-target elimination rather than spread damage.

An insect sorcerer with a Personal Hive power that stacks over the fight. It cycles through a triple-hit bee attack, a heavy single spear strike, and a Pheromone Spit buff that increases both Hive stacks and Strength. The key pain point: attacking the Entomancer with Attack cards adds Dazed status cards to your draw pile, rapidly clogging your hand.

A crystalline entity with the Vital Spark power: the first time it takes Attack damage each turn, it grants the attacker 1 bonus Energy. It cycles through a four-move rotation of Jab (heavy hit), Radiate (damage + Block), Whirlwind (triple hit), and Pulsate (Strength + Block buff). With 200 HP and Strength scaling, this is a tank that rewards careful energy management.

A three-enemy elite encounter featuring Flail Knight (101 HP), Spectral Knight (93 HP), and Magi Knight (82 HP). Each knight has a distinct threat profile: Flail Knight deals raw damage with Ram and double-hit Flail attacks; Spectral Knight applies Hex (turns your cards Ethereal, forcing end-of-turn discard) and attacks with Soul magic; Magi Knight debuffs with Dampen (reduces your power effectiveness) and builds toward a devastating 35-damage Magic Bomb.

A heavily armored mechanical knight with 3 stacks of Artifact (blocks the first 3 debuffs applied to it) and a punishing four-move cycle. It opens with Charge (25 damage), follows with Flamethrower (adds 4 Burn cards to your hand), then Windup (+5 Strength and 15 Block), and finally Heavy Cleave (35 damage). With 300 HP and Artifact protection, this is arguably the hardest elite in the game.

A spectral nexus that opens with Soul Burn (29 damage) and then randomly alternates between three attacks: Soul Burn (29 damage single hit), Maelstrom (6 damage x 4 multi-hit), and Drain Life (18 damage + applies Weak 2 and Vulnerable 2). It cannot use the same move twice in a row, creating unpredictable but manageable patterns. The combination of heavy damage and debuff stacking makes this elite a serious threat.

A beast that opens with a double-hit Claw, then cycles between Rip and Tear and Claw. Uses Roar once to apply 3 Vulnerable.

A heavily armored clam with 8 Plating. Alternates between Jet (damage) and Pressurize (+4 Strength). Simple pattern but scales fast.

Appears in groups of 3. Randomly uses Scratch, Disease Bite, or Screech (Frail). Can summon additional rats with Call for Backup.

Appears in groups of 3. Uses Whip Slap, Glomp, and Goop (adds Slimed cards). Low HP individually but combined damage adds up.

Cycles through Whirl (damage), Spiken (+2 Thorns), and Spike Spit (3-hit + removes own Thorns). Thorns punish multi-hit attacks.

A large louse with 14 Curl Up. Fixed 3-move cycle: Web Cannon (damage + 2 Frail), Curl and Grow (14 Block + 5 Strength), and Pounce (heavy hit).

A robot factory that summons minion bots (Zapbot, Stabbot, Guardbot, Noisebot). Fabricates new bots when it has fewer than 4 allies, otherwise attacks directly.

A tanky knight with 15 Plating. Cycles Tongue Lash (Frail), Strike Down Evil (heavy damage), and For the Queen (+5 Strength). Uses Beetle Charge (35 damage) once when below 50% HP.

A high-HP owl with a fixed 4-move cycle: Scrutiny (damage), Peck Assault (6-hit), Judicial Flight (Soar), and Verdict (massive damage + 4 Vulnerable).

The highest-HP normal monster at 266 HP. Fixed 4-move cycle: Vomit Ichor (10 Slimed cards), Furious Pummeling (4-hit), Leeching Hug (3 Weak + 3 Strength), Smother (30 damage).

An electric enemy with Galvanic 6. Fixed 3-move cycle: Shocking Slap (Frail), Thunder Strike (3-hit), and Galvanic Burst (damage + Strength).

Opens with Forbidden Incantation (gains 9 Ritual), then uses Savage every turn. Ritual grants Strength at end of turn, so Savage damage grows rapidly.

Appears in pairs with Stock 2 — when killed, a new Axebot spawns in its place. Opens with Boot Up (Block + Strength), then cycles attacks.
