Tier List FAQ

Who is the best character in Slay the Spire 2?

Regent and Silent are S-tier. Regent's Stars build dominates high Ascension runs — the Chinese community rates it T0 for its ability to one-shot bosses with Bombardment + Stars scaling. Silent's Sly discard mechanic has the highest single-turn damage ceiling, enabling full-cycle turns with Calculated Gamble.

What are the best relics in Slay the Spire 2?

Ice Cream (energy carries over turns), Gambling Chip (redraw opening hand), Paper Phrog (75% Vulnerable damage), Bag of Preparation (draw 2 extra on turn 1), and Tungsten Rod (reduce all HP loss by 1) are S-tier. These relics provide universal value regardless of character or build.

What are the best potions in Slay the Spire 2?

Fairy in a Bottle (revive at 30% HP on death), Duplicator (play every card twice this turn), Entropic Brew (fill empty potion slots), and Fortifier (triple your current Block — new to STS2) are S-tier. Save Fairy for Act 3 bosses and use Duplicator on lethal turns.

Is Glass Cannon good in Slay the Spire 2?

Glass Cannon is a trap relic in STS2. It doubles damage taken, and Pierce attacks (which ignore Block entirely) combined with Glass Cannon can instantly kill you. Avoid unless you can guarantee Intangible or always kill before being hit.

How often are these tier lists updated?
